Wines
Here at Sam's we are total cheerleaders for local wines from the Alexandra basin. As New Zealand's most southerly wine-growing region, we have a true mediterranean climate with long dry summers, and very cold winters. This produces fruit-driven wines, that are elegant and complex with mouth-filling flavours. Specialities of this region include the indomitable pinot noir and aromatics such as pinot gris, reisling, guwertztraminer, blanc de noir, rosé and more. We also love our bubbles!

Our range is always expanding but the current winelist includes beautiful wines from local vineyards. These wines are made by Alexandra-based, French wine-maker Antony Worch. Check out the links below. We also have some international options.
